This was a brand new website with no prior traffic. The goal was for the website to be the focus of a social media campaign culminating in a national 'Wear Blue for Oceans' day. Where people from around the country and beyond would show their support for a National Ocean Policy by 1. Wearing something blue. 2. Attend one of 50+ rallies from coast to coast. 3. Submitting their 'Wear Blue' photos to the website. The campaign was a resounded success ending with the President signing the National Ocean Policy.

Launched in 2011 - This site involved several challenges. Most of all was data organization. The previous website was well past the time for replacement and because of that there were may issues with visitors not being able to find the information the wanted. This also made it difficult to administer the site. Our solution was to use the latest version of Joomla in conjunction with a Content Construction Kit (CCK). The addition of the CCK provided near limitless possibilities for article organization both for the administrator and for the visitor. In addition to a new website, we also developed a small e-commerce store using Virtuemart.

The website is vibrant, colorful and simple. Services provided included photos of the farm and all of their products. Included is a map of all retail locations, a small FAQ page and image gallery on their history page. Also included was the creation of a facebook page complete will a full set of attractive images of the products and the farm.
You might ask how their for-profit business fits in with our mission. Simple, they are a small family farm with only 35 cows. The milk is non-homogenized and is both hormone and antibiotic free. Most of all, they provide wholesome local food to the communities which they serve.
